Vintage French NICE Code of Arms Crest Shield Silver Plate Filigree unisex Lapel Pin, Antique Brooch with trombone clasp
This beautiful old pin is a silver plate filigree medallion with a shield and crown in the center and says Nice (the province/city) on it. It has a trombone clasp and is 1 3/4". Great piece! I am uncertain of its age ... it looks quite old. Going to guess later mid century tourism type of jewelry but it could also be like a badge for regional something? It’s neat: )) AND FRENCH : ) cool that I got to shoot it at the Pinchot estate : )The clasp is old and a bit tricky but works.
1 3/4 inch lots of silver plate degrading - it’s definitely shabby chic!
