Miniature Cast Iron Harley Davidson Figure Toy with Two Policemen Riders (but they look like bandits: )

measures 4” x 2.75”

I bought this because I thought it would be a cool addition to my shoppe’s gifts... not realizing at the time that I knew nothing about it! I have done my best to research it a bit. To the best of my knowledge, as I could not find one exactly the same, but learned little tidbits here and there, is that, based on it’s nice (but vintage) condition and from what I read that the two pieces of cast iron are connected by a screw instead of a rod (see I really read up : ) it’s a reproduction, and it appears (thus accounting for the bit of real aging as well) they were remade of the original 1920’s-30’s toys in the late 70’s 80’s when this was a popular trend to do so ( I know I have some nice Hall Deco pitchers that are 80’s repros). So, like my sealed first Beatles albums, lol, I did stumble onto something cool, but as far as I know I found a nice gift/conversation piece, and yes a collectible but not a $10,000 Beatles Album : ) it’s really cute and I think most Motor bike Enthusiast would find it a great gift! And if I am wrong even better! Mazel tov! 🎉 Then it will be like the other Beatles Album that I sold at a stoop sale for $5.00- I never saw a guy so excited 💃🕺🏽
