Beautiful Harry Iskin signed Brooch, with the I over the H, and stamped 1/20 12KGF. Retro modern WWII. Three Royal Blue Glass stones anchor the ribbons with a rose gold center. 1.5 tall by 2” wide.
~Harry Iskin is known for his elegant designs during the 30s and 40s and into the 50s. His jewelry quality is sometimes higher than the mark. This piece is marked 1/20 12KGF.

"Most of the Iskin jewelry available is gold filled, sterling, or vermeil. Yellow gold was used on the entirety of a piece, with rose gold used as a contrasting accent. A common brooch theme is a floral design, with limited use of glass stones, embellished with any or all of the following: bars or pleats, curlicues, ribbons, and leaves. Some designs are more simple and dainty, while others are more ornate. The brooches range in size from 1 ¼ to 4 inches in height. He also made link bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Stone colors seem to cover the rainbow and include topaz, pink, red, lime, green, shades of blue, purple. Pearls were also used." ~Carolyn Davis
