*from Chat gpt ai: “EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass. Early American Pattern Glass refers to a type of pressed glassware that was produced in the United States from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century.

During this time, advances in glass manufacturing techniques allowed for the mass production of glassware in intricate patterns. EAPG became popular as an affordable alternative to more expensive cut glass. The glassware was made by pressing molten glass into molds, creating various patterns and designs.

EAPG pieces were produced in a wide range of styles, including patterns inspired by cut glass, as well as unique designs specific to pressed glass. Some popular EAPG patterns include "Cape Cod," "Diamond and Sunburst," "Star and Fan," and "Bull's Eye and Daisy," among many others.

EAPG glassware can be found in various forms, such as plates, bowls, pitchers, vases, and other decorative and functional items. It has become collectible among antique enthusiasts due to its historical significance and the variety of patterns available.”

It’s become quite collected - this pattern is called Imperial Daisy Button /Gold
